Quick Small Batch Strawberry Jam

This is my go to recipe when I over do it on fruit shopping. I want to avoid waste so I whip up a quick jam to save the fruit before it goes bad. You can keep it for yourself or jar it up and give it to friends and family. Its versatile and can be used for any fruit.

Strawberry Jam

1 cup Strawberries
2-3 Tbsp water
2-3 Tbsp Coconut sugar
Squeeze of lemon juice (optional) still good without it.

Directions
Add all ingredients to a small pot over low heat. Stir for about 2-3 minutes. Smash strawberries with a whisk or fork as it softens and cooks. After all the strawberries are smashed raise the heat and let your mixture boil about 5 minutes or until your jam thickens up. Take off heat and store in the refrigerator in a jar or enjoy right away!
