Looking for a meaningful and exciting way to keep your child engaged on MLK Day? This one-day cooking camp blends creativity, culture, and community as campers explore the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through food, friendship, and fun.
Children will roll up their sleeves for hands-on cooking projects inspired by soul food traditions, learning about flavors and dishes that hold a special place in Black history and American culture. Alongside cooking, campers will enjoy themed crafts, storytelling, and age-appropriate activities that celebrate kindness, unity, and the power of making a positive impact.
With a warm, inclusive atmosphere and experienced staff, this camp offers a safe and enriching space for kids to learn new kitchen skills, connect with others, and reflect on the values Dr. King championed.
